Day 12 - Last day at the West Coast Cottage in St. Clair, MI

Today we went swimming and fishing on Uncle Rick's pond, did laundry, cleaned up and packed for our trip to Wolverine, Michigan tomorrow. Even in the pouring rain, we had a great time!

Aunt Tracy helped Paige get the fish off the hook... I don't do fish unhooking or worming... YUCK!

We also planned out our return to home trip. We have decided to leave Wolverine and drive up to the Upper Pennisula of Northern Michigan. We will stop at Mackinac (pronounced 'Mackinaw') City and take the ferry across to Mackinac Island and bicycle around the island (about 5 miles). We will then drive through upper Michigan to Minnesota and South Dakota, seeing Mount Rushmore. Then drop down into Colorado and camp at San Luis Lake where we will meet up with Toby (Sam's brother) and his wife, Luana. On August 21st, we will head to the Petrified Forest in Arizona and then home!
